Learn to grow your own mushrooms

From mycelium culture to harvest, discover the essential techniques of mushroom cultivation through structured, interactive courses adapted to your level.

Courses in preparation · Pre-registration open, no commitment

At Mycotopia, we are preparing courses that combine scientific knowledge, laboratory techniques and hands-on growing practice. Whether you are a beginner, an enthusiast or planning a professional project, they will guide you through every stage of production, from mycelium to harvest.

Sessions will take place by video call, one to one or in small groups of up to 6 participants, in French, English or German. The content will adapt to your knowledge and your goals.

Why pre-register? Registration will open as soon as the first dates are set. Once pre-registered, you will hear first, and your answers will help us build sessions that meet your needs.

Courses for teams and organisations

Companies, associations, farms, project owners: we will be able to train several members of the same team through a shared programme, adapted to:

  • the participants' starting level;
  • the species grown;
  • the equipment available;
  • local raw materials;
  • climate constraints;
  • production goals;
  • the budget and scale of the project.

By video call, these programmes will be accessible from Switzerland and abroad. Quote on request.

Frequently asked questions

When do the courses start?

The dates are not set yet. Pre-register and you will hear first when registration opens, with no commitment.

Do I need to have grown mushrooms before?

No. Module 1 starts from the basics, and the pre-registration questionnaire lets us adapt the level of each session.

Can I take just one module?

Yes, each module can be taken on its own for CHF 150. All three together cost CHF 420 instead of 450.

Are the courses suitable for beginners?

Yes. Every concept is explained from the start, then explored further according to the participants' questions.

Can two people take part?

Yes. The price is per participant, and two people can attend the same session.

Are the classes live?

Yes, all sessions will be live by video call, with time set aside for your questions.

What equipment do I need?

None to follow the course: a computer and an internet connection are enough. To practise afterwards, we will tell you which equipment suits your project, from the simplest to the most complete.

Can the course be adapted to my project?

Yes. Your answers to the questionnaire serve exactly that purpose, and a private session (CHF 240) or coaching lets us work directly on your setup.

Can I take the course from abroad?

Yes. Video call sessions can be followed anywhere, in French, English or German. Times are set in Geneva time.

Is course material provided?

Yes, each module will include digital course material.

Is there support after the course?

Yes: hourly coaching (CHF 80) or the monthly follow-up (CHF 200 for two sessions of 1.5 hours).
